This new version is a major release version (2021.x->2022.x) this means customers with Lightworks Pro Outright licenses from version 11, 12, 14, 2020 or 2021 will not have access to the new Pro features in this new version. There are many more great new features and changes which can be found in the “Fixes and Features” section of the Beta Downloads page. There is still some tweaks to be made here and there but we do welcome your feedback on this new feature. We have given these a makeover to include more relevant information for the world today and made them much more functional and useful. The ability to generate a Changelist between two different sequences is by no means new, but the output file that is generated sure is. If you wish to try the plugins mentioned in the vendors listed above, they do have trial versions which will work and allow you to test, however, they will be protected with watermarks etc. We cannot promise to get them all working but we can certainly make sure we have awareness of what you are keen to have working. We appreciate that some of you will already have plugins that are not on the supported list above or have various plugins from other providers (free or commercial) we welcome you to try these in the new Beta build and we would love to hear from you regarding what plugins you have and what is or is not working. This really is an important update to the entire FX engine and opens up an entire world of FX possibilities. This has been a long time coming but we are pleased to announce that 2022.1 now comes with OpenFX support across all three operating systems.
